You scored a total of 32

Based upon your answers to this quiz, you appear to have mid-range boundaries.

This type of response indicates you may have some qualities or characteristics of both thin or thick boundary people.

I couldn't deal with the questions on this quiz. I needed an "I don't know" option
for several of them.

I scored 22. I like the idea of being implacable! I wouldn't describe myself as thick skinned, though. I suppose maybe it's relative.

55 highest score

I think I have thin boundaries, so it's somewhat true.

I didn't like replies like moderately, somewhat or just a little true - so I might have exaggerated in answers.

(I don't fit the criterias for SPD)

as is typical with these types of quizzes, there were several questions that i answered very honestly as "not at all true" but might as well have answered as "very true", or vice-versa. it depends on what particular state of mind i'm in and what state of mind i'm thinking of when i give my answer

the features of my personality can be very incongruent over time, depending on factors like stress, sleep, food, medication and a lot of other things (but i guess i always like to try these quizzes anyway, because i'm stubborn and i still hope i can find some consistency where there's probably not much of it)

so... random result / not applicable

15, thick boundaries. Although I'm not sure how thickness of boundaries and someone's sensibility get together in the way they say here:
According to Dr. Hartmann, "There are people who strike us as very solid and well organized; they keep everything in its place. They are well defended. They seem rigid, even armored; we sometimes speak of them as "thick-skinned." Such people, in my view, have very thick boundaries. At the other extreme are people who are especially sensitive, open, or vulnerable. In their minds, things are relatively fluid. Such people have particularly thin boundaries."

One of the reasons I have thick boundaries (the "wall") is because of my vulnerability, it's a defense mechanism. So correlation definitely has to be considered.
