What I did was I just gamed for 3-4 days straight when I got into the holidays. Kind of killed my gaming needs for the short term so now I've focused on writing a novel. Hardest part was beginning it but now I'm on a steady roll.

Nice! I wish you good luck... or maybe rather inspiration to keep going! :)
For me it's easy to write unsatisfactory starting chapters, but hard to write one that I'm happy with and can continue from, so I guess I could say that starting is the most difficult part for me too...

On the contrary, man. I'm a big sharer. I started the Breakfast Club back in '13. I'm practically a bleeding heart, man. If I'm not posting on here helping people out, man, I'm up at Rose Hill talking with Wanda. Life for me is all about sharing, man. I guess I'm just a secret schizoid, man. I get out there and do things. I talk to people, man. I do need time alone, no doubt. Most nights I'm at home, man, doing astronomy, astrology, meditating, stuff like that, man. But I get out there, man. I do things. I talk to people. It's what I do, man.

It's just me or this forum is too quiet recently?

Seems to me too that it has been very quiet, except for some really old threads being resurrected...

I wonder if being more quiet and having less to say is related to SPD? Or is it that we just talk less of emotions and feelings and are precived as less talkative but in truth we can and like to talk as much as others as long as it's the right subject?

In my case I have to say I struggle with just producing anything at all. I often enter a thread that I think is interesting and would like to participate in but always end up not writing anything.
I don't really know why but often time I just feel I am forcing something to say and end up deleting it since I don't see the point to say anything that I feel don't contribute enough. I log in here quite often but I never have anything to say and I am the same way in real life also. You could pick my favorite topic and I still feel like I have little and less to say.

I just came tot think of it when you said it has been quiet here on the forum lindi. Maybe it is natural for a SPD forum to be quiet?

That's exactly what I do too! I might even write a reply to the same thread several times, but always erase it, not so much because of being overly self-critical but more like just a "meh" feeling about getting involved in the topic and indeed a feeling that I'm not contributing anyway.

In my case when i see something here that catches my interest i generally try to share my opinion even thought i know that it's not every time that the information provided can help someone.
That which you described happens to myself. I hate small talk.

It is always more quiet in the Summer and around Christmas holidays.
