A haiku sounded interesting to try.

At first you write five
And then you write seven more
Five before you end

My friend's/roommate's/coworker's mom asked me to fix their wifi today. Apparently it has been down for three days and they can't figure out what is wrong.

The power strip was off.
They didn't have a power cord attached to the modem.

This will be the first of many of these situations in my IT career I can tell.

On a related note: Last October (maybe) I asked the head honcho boss man at my work about doing an internship in the IT department while I was in school for it. Basically he liked the idea but it wouldn't happen until spring when our slow season hits. Spring came, but we were short drivers and people quit and new people sucked etc. etc. so I wrote it off as never going to happen. Bumped into him today, and he thinks its slow enough now and even spoke with corporate about a permanent place in IT for me instead of just an internship. I would do a half and half with driving and IT. Happy news.

Usually I don't care if random people are judging me, but there are some exceptional situations. For some reason, when I go to the pharmacy to buy medicines (for my indefinitely ongoing depression etc) I often feel nervous and judged :? People there are friendly, but I feel like they're looking down on me (even if I know that's irrational and they hardly care) and it disturbs me for some reason :x

i found i feel that way only about things i haven't accepted about me or i don't feel good about anyway. that's probably true for you too? not much to do about it, except for working on the root.

You're probably right. I somehow just don't see myself as depressed, although I clearly am (slightly  ). And I know it would get worse without the meds, but still... Maybe it's the fact that I don't identify at all with some depression-related things, like low self-esteem or crying a lot.

Not much going on in this thread? Recently I've tried to take up writing again, but I have some serious difficulties to get started, and then to keep focused. The numb and absent-minded feeling that I've had doesn't help (and neither does the fact that my ideas are very vague)! But to not only whine, at least it's positive that I've been able to think about it and try it now - a while back I couldn't even consider it.

I am curious, what kind of things do you write?

Something on my mind at the moment is that I feel I have lost all my interest in computer games along with other stuff so I decided to just dedicate my time to find new music and sit in my sofa all days and listen to music while I try to enjoy my imagination about various kind of things.
The most recent discovery is the instrument Vioala da gamba. I like it along with a shembalo. Also I try to improve my mouth whisteling by whisteling to almost every song I hear and I can tell you every muscle in my mouth is aching.

I write novels - mostly unfinished ones though. But I can't seem to wrap up my stories in any shorter format. They're youth novels about teenagers and I write them in my mothertongue finnish.

Good luck with the whistling :D Maybe you should actually try to learn playing an instrument?
And hopefully the lack of interest in video games is just a phase. I have that kind of phases all the time - I'm usually only interested in one thing at a time. Now, exceptionally, I'm interested in both writing and video games, but that could also be the reason why I don't get anything done with the writing...
