Hi,

I wanted to write a post here about artists, browsed the forum before and found casually this recent post, in an other part of the forum:

schizoaffective-disorder/topic142246.html#p1464256

"Hi. I am an academic (PhD History) who is editing a volume of artworks by artists with a schizoid diagnosis. I have been diagnosed as schizoaffective bipolar.

If anyone is interested in submitting their art please contact me here or via email, randallstorey@hotmail.co.uk. First preference will be given to written works as they are more easily published, but visual arts (painting, drawing etc) will also be considered. Written works must NOT be autobiographical or purely descriptions of how the illness affects you. Selected entries will however be accompanied by a short (75-100 words) autobiography of the artist. No single entry should exceed ten thousand words. Multiple entries are allowed as long as each is able to stand alone.

Additionally, if anyone has experience in these matters feel free to share them with me.
All the best
Randall"

I don’t know the person but maybe some of you could be interested?

After thinking of it, I am not sure if it makes sense to me : an artistic work is an artistic work, being schizoid or anything or not. I don't know the aim of the writer...

i'm not much of an artist myself, but it's nice of you to post this here.

not exactly sure either what would make schizoid art stand out, but it's interesting nontheless.

the way you said it it could also have meant you think you're going to talk to your psychiatrist, etc.

no need to get pissy.

Now that explains everything. Didn't know humans could think with their asses. But seeing how some people are, i don't doubt it.

I became an uncle last week, wondering what kind of uncle I'll be :

In this pic from your left : my brother, his daughter and me.
