Sometimes you just gave to give into it and see where it leads.

@NPC: I meant mostly that I think it's weird that you assume it's a clinical symptom of something. There's no shortage of people from this age and all past ages in recorded history describing and discussing the problem of alienation. I'm sure you know that. But for some reason, it's like you don't feel like you have the right to even have that feeling yourself, even if it's not surprising at all that you would have it.

I don't think it's necessarily a "clinical symptom of something", I just have this feeling for a long time, and so I'm curious what other people think about it. Will a child experience social alienation?
And what

What do you want to say by that? through history, people discussed every single thought/feeling/situation anyone on this forum post and answered (or questioned) every question anyone here have/had, this way nothing here is original anyway, so why even bothering creating an account?
I asked because It's a feeling I have since I was a child. Back then I believed in the same values everyone had, I believed in god, and I loved my country. I simply was too small to question those beliefs and values or care if they're actually real (to me).
I don't think it's a weird/strange question to ask...

It isn't. It's a little strange to ask if you should see a doctor for it though. This is what I'm saying.

Although, I'm realizing now that you said "my psychologist". If you're already seeing a therapist, then what's kinda surprisng is if the conversation hasn't led to that subject already.

Well, I want to ask him about it, but not right now as we discussing something else and I don't want to jump into something I experience time-to-time since I was a child - It's not new to me.
Besides that, I just want to see what people have to say about it from their own experiences...
Actually, to what I wrote about telling about that to my psychologist, I'm also bad at complaining. Not that it's uncomfortable, I can openly discuss anything about myself, I just don't like to complain as my problems (if you can call them so) are nothing if you compare them to some people. I know, it's relative to each person, and to some, their "little" problems can cause the same amount of damage as "big" problems to others, But I just can't stand it when people complain that they don't have friends at school when there are people I know who got sexually abused and now on a path of self-destruction.
I don't feel sorry for either of those people, but I can't allow myself to make it sound like a big deal, it makes it sound stupid and weak to me. I guess it's just me and my cockroaches.

My birthday is on April the 8th and I have a milestone of sorts on April the 13th so for the last few days I have been thinking about planning a trip to somewhere warm and tropical.

However I have noticed that I am spending hours stuck in my head fantasising about the idea rather than getting on with it. I think there is something very appealing to my subconscious regarding getting away and having fun. Sea, sun, spotless skies and stars.

@xcagedsilhouttex

You can't even imagine (or probably anyone who went/goes to school can) how much time I spent thinking about the end of the school year lol

Which places on your mind?

I told my wife years ago that outside family is not allowed to come visit for the holidays. That has helped it stay very minimal. It's beneficial that we are at least 8 hours away. So, for Thanksgiving, I fry up two chickens and drink some wine. It's a fairly simple affair. I don't realize the impact I have on seclusion but it's definitely there. She seems OK with it but it seems at odds with her mother. I have influence but it's an odd feeling since I don't demand it. Having clout in situations and not realizing why.

I was initially thinking of a place that is absolutely stunning but vastly expensive for a holiday. Probably Seychelles. One of the islands is called Silhouette Island.
