Considering this is SPD, sort of. AsPD is closed and I'm afraid there's little to discuss- it's read-only so topics may be freely read, but the forum is locked.

Fair enough. There's still Just for fun subforum, which is also not bad.

I assume you didn't mean to call the two forums comparable, implying that having ASPD is fun in some ways?

(Sorry, could not resist.)

Right below the Just For Fun forum:

Forget about mental illness for a while and just let loose in here.

I think something similar could (have been) said for ASPD forum. :)

I think you are right. It attracted many from other PD sub-forums and was not exclusively for those with ASPD. It was often discussed there how few, had ASPD and how if one had it, a forum would probably be the last place one would join. I think many schizoid personalities enjoyed it because of the lack of reverence and political incorrectness, many of whom frequented ASPD forum more than this one, and found it a good outlet.

On my mind is currently the spider in my bathroom. Every time I take a bath, or shower, it's right up in the corner. Sometimes I imagine myself having a mutual friendship with the spider, as in letting him live, and letting me live. Obviously it wont do anything anyway, but it feels pretty comfortable.

Man, I haven't been me lately. Not sure what happened, but I got burned with life. Something just didn't feel right for the last few years. Not sure what it was. Life just lost the curiosity I used to feel.
I'm having a few regrets at 29, but maybe it's the same for everyone. Anyway, time to put fantasy into action.

If there is a "quiet borderline" diagnosis, I am wondering if it extends to other diagnoses as well. Are there "quiet" sociopats, histrionics, schizoids etc?

It's the only diagnosis with mood swings, so it's the only one that can be "quiet".
But for the other Cluster B, which are dramatic, I suppose their could be quiet versions.
There is the vulnerable narcissist that is not overtly grandiose, so same idea.
The antisocial cannot really be internal because it is totally social, but I guess masochists would be the closest to something similar.
Not sure about histrionics, that is also highly social, but maybe some sort of Munchausen syndrome.

I often wonder whether I am a quiet borderline or covert/vulnerable narcissist, I guess there's a lot of overlapping. Internal any kind of personality disorder diagnosis seems to me like a "I found a way to deal with it"..
