I agree. Is there a point to this? Intelligent men do not always seek isolation. Fact. Jadeite is speaking of a fact that simply is not true.

The question of 'disliking people' has also been raised several times by sticklers with little interest in the subject at hand. This is a purely epistemological nitpick, for you cannot separate the person from the presence. If you are indifferent to the presence of people then we have little to discuss. That is a trait of barbarians, not intelligent man.

How do you identify a "modern highly intelligent man" is practical terms?
Does this set really include someone other than you?
If it does, could you perhaps give us some examples of such splendid creatures?

Is your statement actually open to refutation, or do your definition of "highly intelligent" exclude anyone not seeking isolation.

Thank you for this assembly.

The young people under 23 are also mostly undiagnosed and living with their parents.
Also my impression is their posts are not as far away from affect as they claim or wish to be.

This reminded me of the passive aggressive pd.
“The behavior often reflects an unexpressed hostility or resentment stemming from a frustrating interpersonal or institutional relationship on which an individual is overly dependent.” “It results in persistent pervasive ineffectiveness, lack of self-confidence, poor interpersonal relationships, and pessimism that can lead in severe cases to major depression, alcoholism, or drug dependence.”

The bold self-diagnosis could be part of reinforcing ineffectiveness. The inconsequential chitchat dominating this forum is in my opinion the un-schizoid, normal way to banter and find self-affirmation. The behavior is more consistent with a clique than a discussion board, not to mention a schizoid one.

I don’t have a full-blown PD.
That doesn't mean I have the opposite of a full-blown PD, if you get my drift.

And now we all anxiously await the arrival of Plutarch...
Will the triumvirate of Übermenschen be able to bring on the new order?
Stay tuned as the Grand Saga continues to evolve!

yay, another troll thread!

just out of curiosity, why is it so important to you to convince us that we are not intelligent? why would you post on this forum if you don't find our discussions very interesting? and are you schizoid or probably schizoid yourself, or are you just looking to have engaging discussions?

We all die in the end. The threads on this forum I see them only as a way to pass the time from this meaningless life and spec of reality. We are all equal in the end,we are nothing.
