schizoid-personality/topic120358.htmlThis is a thread asking to discuss the dumbest things people with SPD have done, but it kind of turned into a 'situations where people with SPD have PWNED other people' thread.
I apologize if I used the term 'PWNED' incorrectly, it's just that I felt it to be the most concise way to describe my point.

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew if Spd can become increasingly worse due to a very traumatic event?

Well, personality disorders are typically caused by some type of trauma (though many would have a stricter view than I on what makes something 'trauma'). I would guess that is possible.

In my subjective opinion; certain persistent feelings that intensify to the point where I can no longer reasonably function independently have worsened my SPD. I see my worsening SPD as some kind of defense mechanism against the overwhelming and crippling nature of these feelings.

Haven't posted here in ages. The only familiar username is EmpathySucks. I see Ada and DoritoCakes seem not to be here anymore. Or that anagram guy?

Aloha Holden! doritocakes turned into cthulhucakes but hasn't been around for a while. Anagram moves in mysterious ways. I haven't modded SPD. It's been WL and Ice as long as I've been around.
I mostly lurk here. I'd like to post more again though. And no, I don't have a Dx. Just traits. [And more of them than I suspected. Now I have a therapist to point contradictions out.
