Hugging is enjoyable, handshakes are no big deal. The other stuff, feh.

My experience has been that most men cannot hug or kiss without getting aroused.

A co-worker hugged me today when she met me outside of work. We hadnt worked together for a while. I like her a lot so it felt natural. Another co-worker who is gay iniated a hug some weeks ago and I felt akward cos I didnt now him that well.

Prolonged kissing is irritating.
but a passionate , heartfelt , firm, 'out of the blue' , spontaneous and confident kiss from a member of the opposite sex that I may find attractive is very acceptable And especially if it doesnt lead to sex. :)

( On a side note: I wonder if others feel attraction without it being sexual ... )

I guess the short answer to OP is I can take it or leave it.

I've never liked any psychical contact in general (haven't had sex in years so might have to experiment to see what my reaction is like now), I never liked being touched and as a teenager other boys would say something like "how are you ever gonna have sex?". I think my dad finally realized the reason I didn't wanna hug him wasn't because I didn't like him but because I don't like hugging, so the goodbye handshake (sometimes hello) ritual came about. I don't mind handshakes (I'm neutral), I must wash my hands though, but I do dislike them in certain situations as a weak handshake apparently means something negative, so gotta make sure to give a strong one at certain times.

I never liked kissing, I didn't properly (tongue) kiss a girl till maybe 13/14, and it was due to some game, it was unpleasant, I put it down to lack of experience for both of us. After that it took till I was about 16 to kiss again, the girl being my future gf, didn't like it and kissing was something I kept as minimal as possible later on with her. I've sporadically kissed ever since, while drunk or high with music in the air, have liked it and disliked it. I don't care about cheek or lip kissing, I'd rather not but its just a common thing to do.

I don't like hugging and I don't like how much time has to pass for it to be satisfactory. I do strangely like my ass getting slapped though (while I'm clothed), happens every now and again (last person was my boss, don't know why girls do slap my ass sometimes, some gay guy I used to know said I had a nice ass, so my ego hopes that's the reason), I always have, don't know why as I wasn't smacked as kid.

I don't like hugging and to be fair I feel somewhat uncomfortable hugging people because it isn't genuine and I feel paranoid they will realize it.

I don't like kissing too.

I have had gf's break up with me because I don't hug, cuddle and kiss. When sleeping in the same bed I always just stay on my side and that's it no touching.

I do enjoy sex and physical contact when it is sexual.

I dislike physical contact when it is display of emotions generally. Probably because my emotions don't run deep. I've had situations in which people touch my arm, shoulder etc as a display of some affection to me and I absolutely instinctively pull back.

Partially it has to do with my narcissism and my misanthropy and the other part is my shallow affect.

There was a scene in Hannibal Lecter series with a psychopath getting interviewed for some murders by Alana Bloom. She went on to touch his hands and he pulled them back, when I saw that, I was like, yep that's so me.

I read on some site somewhere that Hannibal Lecter is a schizoid psychopath.
He is not so concerned with society and people, as much as the effects on their mind and their meat

I think he is definitely a schizoid psychopath in the movies.

He is definitely a psychopath in Manhunter.

In the series he is a very complex character. He doesn't strike me as either a schizoid or a psychopath. He seems like a sort of a Sadist with AsPD and NPD. However, in the series he is portrayed as someone able to empathize in his own wicked way. Maybe some sort of Schiziotypy as well?

This is largely thanks to Hopkins, who also played a schizoid character in The Remains of The Day, he's a self-described loner also, a fellow traveller?

He seems like he is a psychopath in the series. I do not think he is a Sadist. He has made up his own moral principles, like psychopaths do and follows them. He is also pretty bored considering what he did just to see what will happen :D
He doesn't really empathize. Just follow the principle. How he made these principles, i do not know.
