Exactly who said this practice is "ok" ? lol

I'm not sure if you're disagreeing with the price or the practice of wasting hundreds of hours of your life working to pay for a polished rock, but if it's the latter, I'd say every woman I've ever met says that it's not only ok, but a requirement.

###$ that.

Is there a galaxy where people you can remotely understand also treat you with decency? If not I'll pass thanks.

Becomes x 3000 fun until you screw each other over... then what, you go and find someone else to have 3000x more fun with? Sadly I don't fall in love easily enough to run around doing that, so most of my "x 3000 fun" would be rather empty and pretty much absent if I did.

Now you (or other numbnuts that like to pop up) may disagree. But what makes buying a 20,000 dollar ring okay but not a surgery? (that costs less and is much more beneficial because why have a 25 year old when a 16 year old is interested in you)

And what makes a date that costs you 200 dollars just so you can get a kiss on your cheek a good deal?

Dating isn't worth it, and going further than dating just makes it worse.

Haha, this is great. And so accurate, as well.

Anyone ever date a fellow SPD? I have dated a few people with PD's with mixed results.

In other news DO NOT DATE Borderline Personality Disorder sufferers. Insanity results.

Also prostitution is a useful outlet.

I wouldn't recommend it. Clients don't treat you well, your profession is seen with contempt by society, and there's all sorts of other risks.

I would only consider dating someone with SPD.
Let's face it, who else on earth could put up with us?
Nuff said.

lol Until we get personal androids or robots of some nature, this will never happen.

Having said that, the world would be a much better place if people did have switches.

On topic, I find dating to be a royal pain in my ass. I wonder if it's just the dating scene in the United States, or if it's like this everywhere. Spoiled, entitled, and pretentious people of both genders contribute to these factors. Combined with the fact I have SPD and a low income and *POOF* no prospects.

Oh well, at least being single, when I go home to a nice and quiet empty house, I know what to expect. A nice quiet evening to myself and as many of them as I want in the future. 8)

Would that be dating or just be acquaintances with benefits?

There's a free book on Amazon about marriage, saying that the courtship/infatuation stage of a relationship lasts for roughly 2 years.

I see the value in marriage as a whole beyond that 2 year point. Historically marriage has been about property, economics, procreation, and cooperation. There's some value in that.

Dating is the way to get there in the 21st century, apparently.
