Dating isn't worth it, and going further than dating just makes it worse.

On topic, I find dating to be a royal pain in my ass. I wonder if it's just the dating scene in the United States, or if it's like this everywhere. Spoiled, entitled, and pretentious people of both genders contribute to these factors. Combined with the fact I have SPD and a low income and *POOF* no prospects.

Oh well, at least being single, when I go home to a nice and quiet empty house, I know what to expect. A nice quiet evening to myself and as many of them as I want in the future.

There's a free book on Amazon about marriage, saying that the courtship/infatuation stage of a relationship lasts for roughly 2 years.


I see the value in marriage as a whole beyond that 2 year point. Historically marriage has been about property, economics, procreation, and cooperation. There's some value in that.

Dating is the way to get there in the 21st century, apparently.
