Recently, I have become interested in 4wding as a possible hobbie and have been obsessively researching everything there is to know. I want to work on my own truck (budget custom work) to increase its off-road capability, whilst building on my own personal skill set.

I imagine that it would be a satisfying feeling to know that I am completely isolated from civilization, in the middle of the desert, challenging 4wd tracks ahead of me and nothing by my own ingenuity to get me home safely.
