Not interested-- if I am going to make an ass of myself, I'd like to be fully aware.

Necessary to get me through a social night. If everyone else is going to make an ass of themselves, then I'd rather not remember most of it.

Never been drunk. I've only had a few 'tastes' of it.

I keep some around the house for emergency pain medication. If you are prone to kidney stones as I am, you learn to recognize the symptoms an hour or two before the real pain and nausea set in. That's when I down a glass or two whiskey and chase it with a sick pack of beer. I've only done it 4 times in the last decade but it worked for me. The whiskey gets me numb drunk quickly, the beer helps keeps me there and provides the pressure to pass the stone. I used it once after an accident with hot wax that sleeved the skin on two fingers because it was the weekend and I wanted to wait till the local clinic opened and save some money (I'm really cheap.) A bottle of whiskey usually last me a year or two. The occasional guests raid my beer but a 12 pack still lasts at least a year.

It doesn't affect me much at all. I am pretty much the same when I am drunk.

I have a beer occasionally but no spirits. Spirits bring on psychosis and blackouts.
