I often drink a couple of beers after work to relax. It works too well and I like the buzz too much...and I'm a bit paranoid about becoming an alcoholic some day, so I try not to do it more than twice a week.

Alcohol and pot are not pleasurable for me. I have difficulty understanding the draw of them. Really experiencing it is kind of like 'this is it?' Okayyy then...
Plus I already feel very 'in my head' kind of floaty anyway, but when I'm intoxicated somehow it suddenly feels like I've been yanked from my own head , and that makes me feel horrible. I don't like it. It's like i'm floating away from myself (plus my head starts feeling like you do when you go underwater-weird pressure and submerged).
Though alcohol makes me bipolar in a way- like smiling laughing dancing one moment; i'm going to go cry in the closet the next moment.
Basically it freaking sucks and isn't worth it.

I like alcohol. It make me more social, speakable and relax.
But better is weed. I love when my perception of reality change and become more sharp, time slow down and sound quality increase. I smoke only alone beacause then I usually listening to music or watching movies.
Best medicine for me is biperiden. For few hours it boost my motivation, spontaneity and social skills. It probably works after its euphoric side effect.

Sporadic, it's great for dealing with anhedonia and social situations.

I have a drink maybe every couple of weeks. I don't usually get drunk just feel a little buzzed which is what I like. I never understood the desire to get totally trashed or the desire to drink all the time. I've worked with many people who love alcohol and it is a major part of their lives. I never understood this. I feel like I'm missing something. I enjoy drinking but I don't think I enjoy it as much as a lot of other people do. I smoked pot a few times when I was younger, but honestly there is a social commitment to smoking it. You have to know who to get it from and interact with people to get it and honestly it was never worth the interaction to me to get it, so again I don't think I enjoyed it as much as most people.

I don't really like it. I don't like the taste, it makes me sweat like crazy, I'm too much of a control freak to enjoy being drunk and a lot of it triggers migraines for me. The worst is champagne. One sip and I'm out for two days.
And I really don't like being in a crowd of drunk people whether I'm drunk or sober. As much as I hate any kind of socialising, trying to talk to someone who is unpredictable and boring is the worst.

Used to be pretty bad. As much as two fifths of whiskey in one day. Blacking out every day starting around 10AM on a 24-48 hour binge drunk.
Now I will drink about 4 times a week only drinking a pint of Whiskey each time.
Who needs a liver right?
Helps with social functioning very well, I think i need some Xanex or Klonopin, maybe some cocaine.... so I can drink less? Just a thought.

Drink daily, mixing glass or two wine, and a few shots of whisky. I practically lived in bars in my younger days, now I am drinking a lot, because of personal relationship issues, guilt and lots of anxiety.
