Surely there's others here that over-do it?..I started only having a drink or two before work to ease some of the anxiety I have around co-workers. Over the past year I've become more addicted to the effect and drink every night and will continue into the day if I have the means to do so. Disregarding what situations I may be in where the consequences of being caught would be horrendous not to mention dangerous (driving, at work, etc..). Its actually strained my relationship with my parents and I've gotten in a number of legal issues because I haven't really applied myself to keep on the wagon.

Sometimes I think it'd be easier if I were of age to buy alcohol. I wouldn't have to haul a six pack in my backpack everywhere. I'd just carry a flask with a few shots of Vodka. But I think that's "drunk logic" as someone else put it haha. I have a problem and think it would be just as big an issue whether I was 21 or not. I'm a schizoid and have social anxiety when someone shows any interest in talkin to me, which prevents me from even joining AA. I've been to those support groups before and can't connect with the other sufferers, I simply don't care that others "support" me and are there to listen. Although it is comforting to know others feel the same through their addictions.

Yeah, definitely is a problem if you can't even leave the house without it. Sure I buy myself a 1.5L every two weeks, but I only ever drink at home, alone, and only after about 7pm.

Before I turned 21 I used to drink somewhat off and on. Turning 21 only made the problem worse. Also being SPD probably wont make getting help any easier.

We haven't met yet, and I don't plan on ever meeting him. I've heard all the things he makes other people do and I will not associate myself with him.

I guess just to stave off boredom until I fall asleep and have more stuff to do the next day. Also due to drinking so much, usually I drink the cheapest I can find from Vodka/Rum/Gin 1.5L bottles and mix it with soda pop or juice. I probably get a new one every paycheck.

I like to think I'm under control, but... that's just drunk logic.

Same, except probably 7-9 shots. Helps me get through the day. I think I get through a 1.75L per week or so.

I have been addicted to alcohol for just under a year. Over it now, though, still feel occasional urges.
Began drinking due to anxiety and depression. Right now it seems somewhat under control. I'm not one much for abstinence. Interesting when looking at all the different drugs I've done, alcohol has been by far the more sinister of them all.
