If the person didn't have a 'weirdness' to them which would cause me to doubt them, I'd like it.
I like to be liked. I like to like others. I sometimes tell them.

Honestly I'd probably back slowly away.
Last time someone tried to pick me up in public I got in my car and drove away as quickly as I could.

i asked my boyfriend what his reaction was. He first asked "Define 'reaction,'" and then said "It was "really awkward, because I didn't know how to handle things like that, at least back then."

I'd be either turned on or turned off depending on what I thought about them. If I was crushing, I'd be over the moon, If I wasn't crushing or attracted to this person, I would nip it in the bud pronto and tell them I wasn't interesting in them romantically however we could be friends.

Similar in my case. + In the back of my mind I start to think there is something wrong with their perception; they only think they like me, but it is just a matter of time they find out they don't.

Similar. I usually do something that forces them to reject me.

Long as I can restrict my reactions to non-verbal communication I'm pretty alright with comments like this. It's when people follow up with what do you think about that or something of that nature that I'm all...

The Breakfast Club? Loved that movie. The 80s...miss that decade.

I can't really think of any situation where it would even make sense for anyone to say they "liked" me in that sense.

That's the girl that was pretty all along but somehow had to "express her beauty" by becoming full-blown boring for the "happy ending", right?
