disorganized thoughts and nervousness

Postby amancini823 » Sat May 26, 2018 8:05 pm

my name is alex

i get up a lot and have real disorganized thoughts, sometimes thinking from thought to thought to things people said to me, extreme negativity, self-doubt, and anxiety.

I have hobbies and coping skills, and the meds help but they are high doses.

I take a low dose of effexor and pretty high dose of seroquel, plus stuff for seizures. its very hard dealing with this.

Yeah, my thoughts go everywhere. Tangents all over. Today I'm really down and can't get out of this funk. Negative thoughts seem to consume me at times, so I try to think positive or meditate but sometimes it doesnt change much. Maybe try some exercise.

Disorganized thinking has distressed me in the past before they found the right antipsychotic agent for me. I recommend finding a good pdoc.

Just want to say Alex, I have been there just like you described.

I have dealt with this for eleven years. The last few have been pretty good, I have best possible meds, few symptoms, I am feeling more self confident now. Just the side effects to cope with.

Keep working with your psychiatrist, build your support network, and make time for you. Best of luck, I know you can get through this part.
