Is it normal to have break through symptoms?

Postby Ikeydpower » Sat Apr 28, 2018 9:44 pm

Is it normal to have breakthrough symptoms? I'm on the highest dose of abilify and 3 mg of vraylar together. I still get paranoia , It's the one symptom that doesn't seem to go away.

I got 5150d 3 months ago for being suicidal, but I did not know I was to a suicidal. I just thought I was trying to fulfill a mission sent to me from God that required me to be on heaven.

Can you tell when your symptoms are coming back? I can't always decipher my paranoia from reality. The hallucinations I seemed to know pretty well that they are just that. Sometimes I can't tell when I'm manic, Until someone points it out to me.

How do you act when you're psychotic? Do others know that you are? Do you know that you're psychotic?

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. I'm on the max dosage of Geodon, and I still get manic and psychotic at times. I usually don't get depressed, and if I do, it's for a short time. I rapid cycle. I am fortunate enough to know when I'm manic and/or psychotic though.
