Scared of inevitable truth or lies

Postby misslazarus » Fri Mar 03, 2017 7:46 pm

Does anyone else feel that when they have a psychotic episode that something very terrible has happened to them??? I try, panic stricken, to ignore what I think is the "truth", the delusion that there has been a terrible accident and I am taking my last breaths. it makes sense to me that I would rather be with my family at home etc rather than let the "truth" unfold... my therapist is terrible, I think she has never dealt with a S.A.D. before:-\ no one understands :(

Im really sorry to hear àut tour woes friend.it can be difficult to draw the line between reality and delusion so it can be scary at times. I hope youre taking care of yourself and i wish you well on the road to recovery. I saw that youre also dealing with s.a.d. and feel like your therapist doesnt understand. I hope this gets resolved somehow. Maybe if you open up to them itll give them a better understanding of where youre coming from and help the interaction between you two. Good luck friend, i pray that good health finds you

I know the feeling of being terrified of an inevitable TRUTH that turned out to be a delusion. So dont worry if something unusuallu scary comes your way. Its likely just a delusion...a LIE
