You're not dreaming and you're not part of a research group. However, psychosis, from my experience, can feel very dreamlike. So, it may even be the case that your brain is mimicking a dreamstate through how it is communicating within itself - I'm not sure on that one but it certainly sounds possible.
So my advice is to understand that yes you are still part of the "real" world, and that hopefully in time these feelings of being in a dream will pass. In the meantime, try not to do anything stupid, like you would if you really were in a dream!
