sex discrimination

hi,
i want to know about traditions in your country if they are promoting sex discriminations or not.
in my country , women cant ride motorbike, and women have to leave their parents home after marriage, and live with inlaws. what about your country?
and do u think these traditions r not enough for women to kill them alive.
