After a long time of dwelling with remorse, guilt and other emotions related to past actions, I believe I finally found a solution that goes as follows:
"The things I have done were wrong, but I did not realize at the time of my actions that what I was doing was wrong. Therefore, it was not my fault for doing what I did. However, those actions were still wrong and I should try my best to learn from them so as to not repeat those actions in the future."
I used to apply this solution when experiencing remorse for my past wrongdoings, but lately I've began doubting myself that this solution might be wrong as well. Can you please verify whether my solution is valid or wrong?
