What could this be?

What could make a female child attracted to female mother figures. Teachers, counselors etc.sexually into adulthood. And sometimes have thoughts of sexually abusing them as children. Which is impossible because they are older. Because the person finds women wounded like that exciting?

Personally I feel you are somewhat over-analysing the situation. It could be something as simple as a film or story experienced as a young child.

No I am not overanalyzing. I just want to know where it could come from. I have always been attracted to mother figure women since 7. Still am and I am 42 year old woman. Thinking about sexually abusing these women as children cant be normal at all. Thinking that, that is interesting and exciting (not sexually) cant be normal. My therapist seems to think it comes from unresolved sexual trauma (molestation) from some female care giver type. At first I was opposed to this. Now I dont know. I mean I suppose being young and gay could cause it in itself but why not peers and why was I sexually interested in anybody at age 7?
