OCD about sexual assault

Postby richbrand » Fri May 08, 2015 2:48 pm

I keep feeling and thinking that i have sexually assaulted someone and done something wrong, i met up with a girl and had a few drinks with her, anyway i stayed over hers and in the morning when we woke up i got into bed with her and we just talked for a bit, we then started kissing and I was touching her. I then got on top of her and was about to go down on her and she said she didn't want to so I stopped. Its the part where i was touching her that i think i done something wrong. Sometimes my mind thinks back to the situation and I wonder if i did something wrong but each time i walk myself through the situation it seems as though nothing bad happened at all.

Do you remember her body language during the touching or whether she said anything or had said anything about wanting or not wanting sexual touching earlier?

I am glad that you stopped when asked though - I think that is something to hold onto and suggests that you have some decency and goodness and perhaps shouldn't be beating yourself up too harshly.

It's hard for me to say more without more information though. Do you find it hard to remember exactly what happened? Have you spoken to the girl about this? How long ago was this?

All best,
Sprock

I remember her stopping me and she said something along the lines of "youre a cheeky one arent you" in a flirty way, it was all a very short encounter and afterwards she seemed fine and was talking to me and touching my hair, we texted a bit after that but she said nothing about it. Happened a few months ago

Since you stopped when asked; she was fine, comfortable and happy; and she hasn't said she felt uncomfortable, pushed, taken advantage of, or abused, I think you're 100% in the clear! Ne happy, go outside and enjoy your freedom unburdened by guilt!! 8) :D
