my regret is against myself. i let go off the woman in my life, i befriended the people who ended up unhealthy for me, and i had a nervous breakdown.
i did everything to please others and never thought about myself. got so winded up in what people think of me, i lost myself and became afraid.
my guilt is against anyone, it's against myself...doing things to please others and not myself

Hey
Do you think you would be able to be in a place now where you are more able to put yourself first? It can be difficult to do this but it sounds like it would be important for you to do so. What do you think?

i do think about myself more.
i just wish it had occurred before, i know it's like a catch 22 situation. but i wish i had learned the lesson before the damage done.

Totally get that
But maybe you had to go through the bad stuff in order to learn to put yourself first more?

Hi there
I sorry to hear that but i have to say many people have this problem and I think that the solution is simple but hard at the same time. It takes mental strength to stand for your needs first being the considerate person that your are but here is what I purpose, helping people is also a great way to help yourself in the long run and it makes you feel good about yourself to help another. Help people in a way that it doesn't hinder your potential to go forward in life. If you aren't sure about the when your are doing this, get a "few" opinions from a few people that you know is conscious-minded and you know they won't steer you astray. Id also say schedule your day in a way that you don't socialize with a bunch of people in certain times of the day, in other words place some form of structure in your life that you don't want to break and therefore you will not be able to help others in such a matter that may end up hurting you in the end.
