he won't help!

Postby pheonixrise » Fri Jul 08, 2011 1:08 pm

the only thing I've asked him to do all freaking day long is put some clothes out to dry. does he? of course not, that would take away precious time re-playing a game he's already played from start to finish. so sick of this. usually he does enough to nearly equal what i do around the house. i'm exhausted, sore, and around 6 weeks away from giving birth. and right now he cares more about his game then me having clean, dry pants for tomorrow.

Personally I can see where you would be upset, frusterated, and angry. I would be too! Especially at this point in your life where you will have a little one coming into play. If I were you I would sit down with him and have a serious talk. Both take turns telling eachother what is bothering one another, and listen to eachother. Then at the end come up with a commitment to make together. You have a little one on the way & yes he does need to care about now, beecause if you say you're 6 weeks away from having a new one there, things happen and they could come sooner. I strongly believe you will want to get this issue resolved before your baby is born because that bundle of joy does not need two fighting, arguing parents. It needs ones that will help eachother out in times of need.

His brother is here for the weekend, thanks for the suggestion, I'll be doing that after his brother has left.
