Good friends

I had a friend many years ago who made me feel inadequate. She would pretend as if it was my fault that our friendship wasn`t good enough. This made me very insecure, and she actually made me believe or enhance my own feelings of inadequacy.

That doesn't sound like a good friend if they (in this case, she) makes you feel inadequate.

A good friend is with you through thick and thin, not judging you.

I've had friends like that, too.
They were never actually friends, though.
I just didn't realize it at the time.
Good friends raise you up.

Yeah never had a good friend. All the friends I made online kind of hit on me even if they're good friends, and offline they forget about me. Oh well. I honestly don't know what a good caring friend is like...

two peoples friendship is an adventure. you know the power of a good friend when to feel honest and real reconciliation of conflicts. and so the friendship would grow...and the adventure to continue.

I guess you are all right about that. A good friendship shouldn`t leave you feel miserable and hurt.
Friendships sometimes get put up for the test and its in those cases you really find out who are your real friends.
