Hello, I am 18 and I am starting to believe that I may have a problem with women. Here is the thing, I am currently single and have been this way for quiet a long time now... maybe 10 months... and I have tried to get to know girls and be in relationships etc but I seem to lose interest very fast. A few day ago I was talking with this girl and she seemed very interested in me and everything and I liked her so we shared phone numbers and I was going to call her at night to ask her for a date. Anyways, I get home, I was alone so I decided to go for a little porn in the internet and masturbated so when I was done I realized that suddenly it felt like going through much trouble to ask and go on a date with this girl... I felt like all my needs were taken care of and I did not call her... she is probably pissed off because I haven't call her in a few days but I am still wondering what happened that night... is masturbation taking over women for me? I feel really weird since it seems like going against nature not to want to be with a woman.... Anyhow, I have not masturbated since that day hoping that my need for sex drives me mad and controls my person into having to date a woman but I find this pretty weird. Could you comment with any suggestion or if you just want to say anything you are more than welcome as well.

Mrquestion, try thinking about what made you feel attracted to this girl and then if you call her and ask her out, be really really nice to her. She might forgive you.

It sounds to me like you are just a loner type with a low sex drive. When I was your age I would masturbate and crave sex 10 minutes later! My urges were almost impossible to satisfy. I'm not sure what you can do about it. It's unlikely that you have low testosterone at your age.

Do you think you might be depressed?

Well I think I have lost some of my appetite and I sleep too much but I have always slept too much so I do not know if that counts. I personally do not think I am depressed, I love my life and I look forward to living every second of it.
Btw, I just woke up and logged in into Facebook and I see a new album that the girl I talked about had posted and it made me wonder "Why do you want to date her again?" The thing is that she is educated and very refreshing to talk to and she is even sort of cute... shouldn't that be enough of a reason? I mean, shouldn't just the fact that she is a woman be a good reason?
