Don't worry about your friends, if your friends get mad or are not supportive they aren't true friends and you can do better.

As for the restaurant just ask to go- tell your parents that is something you'd really like for your birthday.

It's extremely common for parents to take their adult children out for dinner on their birthday. In fact many people will celebrate with their parents one way, and their friends another way.

Furthermore, not everyone feels compelled to go out and drink themselves half to death. I seriously doubt anyone would judge you for how you choose to celebrate.

I'm sure they love you. i just think that at this point you need a boyfriend who will spoil you a little bit and love you, then you would see your parents in a whole new light. Can't you find any nice man of your age to date? I'm sure you can, but you need to work on it.

then take those that you "don't like". they may be much better people than those you are attracted to a lot physically. is there any man who displays interest in you?

how can you know if you do/don't like a guy if you don't meet him and talk with him?

Don't worry about not having friends. When I was 23 I did not have any friends either but now (eight years later) I have about a dozen friends. it took me about 7 years to accumulate friends, and you will too. Just live your life and it will happen.
