Who succeeded in getting a signicant other

Postby seulki3 » Thu Mar 12, 2009 1:41 am

The way human society has developed, I would have to say getting a spouse is easier for women than it is for men because usually it is the men who have to compete. I know some women disagree.

Be that as it may, who among us has succeeded in getting a girl/boy friend? If you did, can you kind of describe how that happened, and how old you were when that happened.

I think that may benefit us (likely to include MOST of us on this board) who are single at various ages. Single hood can be a bigger problem the older you are.

Absolutely right. I believe most successful person tries to work with boyfriend or girlfriend whatever they want, but they will think different positive. Free mind attitudes use. Believing in oneself. Enough Faith in god. They will try to understand their bf/gf. They will give them chance to understand. They will trust each other deeply. Remain honest with each other, in other words you can say stay loyal with each other.

Thank you!

Why should we keep doubt on our potentiality to do so? It is meaningless things. We can get eveything if we want. For this you need true desire to get it.
Winning is not everything in life, Desire to get it is everything.

Thanks

Good way of looking at it, and I agree with you that it's meaningless to doubt your potentiality as that will not do you any good. However, I would disagree that we can get everything if we want. That is kind of like how Obama kept saying like: - Anything is possible in America. White house is within reach of anyone.

My opinion is we can get almost everything if we want. I'm not refuting you.

Good discussion.

Seulki,

It is your choice what to take. I can't force anyone to take whatever i say, because everyone is free to decide what is in favor of them, i can say only what may be better choice for your life. After all i am human.

Online actually, through the old communication thing like msn, icq... we talked for a few years, met and have been together for 8 yrs and counting.

We ended up meeting through other people....

I was divorced about a year ago. Not real ugly or nasty, but not pleasant either. Wasn't out looking for someone new but did end up making friends with a lady from work. She is also divorced. We've been dating for a few months and as of last Monday became boyfriend/girlfriend.

I don't know that I ascribe to the older you get singlehood is a bigger problem. I am 45 and my girlfriend is 38. I might add she is absolutely georgeous!

Thanks God! I was blessed to have a good one. I met my boyfriend at online dating site 6 years ago. He’s so understanding and responsible and he loves me so much. Though we experience also some flaws in our relationship which is normal in a matured relationship, we fix it with our love for each other. It’s the main thing that keeps us together…Forever!!
