How do I handle it

Postby keasterp » Thu Oct 11, 2007 6:25 pm

I need advice. I am married, kids and was stupid and had a relationship for a few months last year with a married man. I ended it along time ago, he is still bitter, calls me at work constantly (we work for the same company) No way to avoid the calls. He has talked about commiting suicide because I ended it. WWe are still friends and he wants to do lunch everday, calls 10 times a day and wants to be the friends we were. I no longer work in the same store so that is impossinble. He says he misses me and is now actually physically sick over this and his nerves are shot. Evertime I say I am walking away and this needs to end he says we should just tell our spouses. How do I get away from this without everything blowing up and him having a nervous breakdown?

I can understand how being nice to everybody is hard. But your ex-lover is not under your control.
As i understand you want to keep your marriage. Your marriage is under your control - so you can act there. How would your husband react? At least to me honesty is always the best policy...
