To go or not to go to a strip club?

Hi all,

I am part of a group of friends and my birthday is coming up, so they decided to celebrate with me at a strip club. However, I am having second thoughts about going. I am in fact attracted to this one girl who is part of the group. I am afraid that going to the strip club and be seen by her will turn her off and so any possibility of having a relationship is gone. I still want to go but at the same time don’t want to turn her off. What should I do in this case? Should I risk it and go as a group with all my friends to the club or should I sit this one out?

I suppose you have to balance what you think can happen with that woman, against your other friends. Is it possible to gracefully back out, and suggest some other venue?

I mean, I suppose it's possible to conduct yourself at a strip club in a way that would definitely not turn a girl off, but can you? I have boy bits... I know, depending on what's in front of me, I might have at the least, a silly grin on my face. I mean, we're wired to look.

I guess also a lot depends on what sort of girl she is. If she's going to the strip club at all, that's more chill about it than some women I know.
