Loving my childhood friend

Postby Richiericho » Sat Apr 08, 2017 9:00 am

Hi everyone, I'm posting this on behalf of my friend (23f) who I've known since I was a child. She only recently told me she has Anxious Personality Disorder. We practically grew up together and did everything together when we were younger, built dens, bike rides.. stuff like that. When we were in our mid teens we started to like each other and went for a relationship.. I knew that she's always been a very shy/reserved person but we took it slow. It was only a few weeks later she broke it off because of reasons I still don't know to this day. I assume I was coming on too strong maybe and her feelings might have been too much for her or something. So it's only these past couple of months that we've started to message each other/seeing each other more often. We've recently spoke about our feelings and we both like each other again. This time my feelings for her are much much stronger than I thought they would be. We've even spoke about a relationship and she also spoke to me about how she would like to try sex with me (she's never had sex before) so she is more comfortable talking about this stuff than she has ever been. She has a lot of good friends where she works and I don't think she's shy around them. (She works with kids as well and she's quite good at it too) I think she just lacks self esteem as I think I'm the only guy that's been in her life.. she's such a fun, beautiful person and I'm starting to lover her so much it's a burden to me. Also sometimes I would message her and I she would seem a little off or not message back in hours even though she is online. She does get stress from home which could be the issue sometimes. I'm sorry for this long post but can anyone give me some advice on what to do if we were to become an item? I appreciate your responses
