I realize how unrealistic this is...

But I really wish someone cared about me the way I've cared for other people. I've fought tooth and nail for other individuals. I've sacrificed a lot of myself to make sure someone else has opportunities i have not had. I'll keep doing this. I won't complain. But I will feel a little bit disappointed that at no point will anyone else do for me what I've done for others.

It's beautiful to care for some people and to give them opportunities in their lifes. I hope someone will care for you (but probably some people do care for you?). Do you take care of you too? Do you try to give to yourself all the best for your own life?

I don't know why, some people help other people and tend to forget themselves.I don't know if it's your case...

You are correct that I don't really care about myself. I know I'm going to die, and that's alright with me. And I don't have a lot of affect. I can make other people happier.

Ashlar, you sound like a very loving person. Someone who is selfless and who has a great deal of love to give. Unfortunately, there will always be people who will take advantage of people like you who have such a beautiful nature but I'm sure there is someone out there who will truly appreciate and reciprocate your love for them. You sound like someone who people can trust, someone they can talk to and confide in and someone who will give them a great deal of affectionate – these attributes are of immense value in relationships and I wish you all the luck in the world in finding happiness in them.

i don't mean to sound rude but...could you in some way enjoying being a martyr?

this is coming from someone who has felt the same way however, i question if i do it just do i can say that i've done xyz for people? are we offering too much and expecting people to give us the same?
