But I'd lose everything then.

I'm not sure I understand. What do you have and what would you lose?

I have potential and I'd waste it.

By learning to like yourself? What potential? To do what?

Honestly,I think I'd be far above average looking if my boobs were really great and my confidence improved and I have lots of other things going for me to be honest,I think I could achieve many things I want to achieve if I just dared.Like,I always wanted to be famous and in my country you can become somewhat famous overnight with no problem, you just have to be moving in the right circles.I just need a little push,I always need a little push and then I'm great.

That's also how you get taken advantage of in a lot of situations. Have you thought about starting from the business angle first? Approaching agents and related jobs? Before you go off and modify your body semi-permanently with stars in your eyes.

Well,I think boobs are a bonus when looking for any job,but I thought about starting hostessing this fall, that's how girls often get close to right people.
I first need to get money for boobs, remember?
Anyway,I don't think it's that big of a modification,why would I ever regret a boob job(assuming I won't get 5 cup sizes bigger)

I assume you've already at least looked at the medical problems. Ruptures, skin stretching (which will look worse with age), possibly not turning out in a way you like, etc. Loss of sensation. Breast feeding.

There's also a degree of correlation between breast augmentation and substance abuse or suicide, but they could both just be caused by the same underlying problems as opposed to the implants themselves.

I'm actually fairly certain in the body dysmorphic forum you could get some feedback from other women who have had the procedure and how they feel after it.

You'll also pay for them once up front, and then again to modify them at some point in the future most likely, and so on and so forth, plus any medical complications.

Depending on where you live culturally it may be less desirable as well. I know the procedure is more common in some areas (Colombia), whereas I think it's a novelty or exception in a lot of other places.

Yeah,it sucks,but I think it's worth it.

Caused by underlying problems,I know.I've been a bit suicidal before, but I think I'm over that now.

It's very common in those circles I already mentioned,but yeah,most people think it's a bad thing.As I said,I wouldn't make it extreme or tell people unless necessary,so I think it's fine.

I get your point, but I really feel like I need to do it.

As a point of some relevance, when I was in grade school I thought I just needed to get to high school and then things would get better. Then I thought I just needed to get to college and things would get better. Then I thought I needed to get into the workforce and then things would get better. I idealized all of them, and none of them lived up to the expectations I had set.

If you still want to do this, it's your own right and responsibility (assuming you foot the bills).
