being blackmail by exboyfriend with explicit skype videos

This is my first post here,
i just left another forum because i got in volved with a forum member who was on the safety team..long story short... things didnt work out , he is married wife found out... and now he is out for revenge...he has told me that he will send explicit videos of me to my dad....????

i am irish catholic and my father is old school 74...vatican 1 catholic... it would destroy him and our relationship.

what can i do ? i reported it to the forum but they say there is no evidence of any thing...so i told them to look at the inital contact bewteen us... i put up a post on a BPD section about high sex drive and reducing my SSRI'S.... he commented then he started pming me and talking about being attracted to me and would i not give someone like him a try ??

Get a lawyer or go to the local authorities. Blackmail is a crime in most places. Get your evidence together (this is why the lawyer is my first suggestion). Ignore the threats. Don't make any threats back. Don't look scared or confrontational. Get your ducks in a row.

How can this person contact your father? find out how, lets say if it's by email then block this person from your fathers email address. I've had to cover my tracks before, just think of any way he can contact your father and stop it before it happens. From now on don't do online videos of your body with any one, it seems harsh but you will feel safe and better about your self.

This story doesn't make sense to me.

Why is he out for revenge and threatening to send these videos to your father? Is it because you're harassing him and his wife or something and he wants you to leave them alone?

Do you realize how bizarre this sounds? If you're looking for advice or other people's opinions, you need to be open and honest and share greater details about what's going on.
