Does this sound like Commitment Phobia? :(

Postby Kenyabobbydo » Fri Jan 11, 2013 4:38 am

My bf and I have been in a long distance relationship for 6 months. It started two weeks ago after I spent a whole week at his place.we were basically together 24 /7 for a whole week and we got very close and everything was great. He opened up to me about his feelings and I saw a different side of him.And then when I left he stopped initaitng contact.he only responds to my contact and responds very quickly but hasn't initiated in the past 2 weeks:-(He has distanced himself before but not for this long, but this is the first time we've ever been soooooooooooooo close. He never really wants to get close, ever since the beginning of our relationship he never really opens up about himself and doesn't really wanna know much about me.Even when we skype,we talk and when it gets personal he makes excuses to not skype, like he's tired or w.e.idk what happened, idk what I did wrong cause I didn't do anything wrong..I'm so confused you guys..what could be the problem???the thing is months ago he told me he has commitment issues cause he was cheated on by his ex so he said he distances himself and he said that's not good that he dies that .do you guys think he's distancing himself.cause we got super close you fast and he got scared?should I just stop initiating and wait for him?????? :-(

Sounds like he really likes you. But it also sounds like he insecure with idea of relationships right now. Like u said, from his exes. That usually comes from what your subconscious feels the conditions of love are. But that's the trick, love is 100% unconditional! He needs to figure that out somehow.
