Raped by a BPD

Postby extinctpanda » Sat Aug 25, 2012 11:26 am

Hey everyone,

So I met a BPD girl about 10 months ago and she came to visit me for my graduation. During that time she stayed with me and there were several times that I was sure that she had taken advantage of me in my sleep. Due to the nature of BPD we don't talk right now but I don't know how to feel about it or really what to do. The thought of it bothers me a bit but I knew about it and confronted her. She said she had played with me in my sleep and I wasn't mad or hurt about it because I loved her but now that we are apart and I think back on it I'm disturbed at the thought.

Umm what?

Are you male or female?

Can you be more specific about what she did to you in your sleep? How sure are you?

Maybe she acted inappropriately but it does not sound like what I would call rape.

Ok even if it wasn't rape it was sexual assault and abuse and it can have just as many emotional repercussions. This is definitely something to take seriously. I've had something similar happen to me before. And anyway her having BPD doesn't make it more excusable or anything. I have BPD and would never, ever sexually harm anyone. It's inexcusable and I'm very sorry it happened.

You were sexually assulted. Dont you DARE let anyone tell you otherwise. Even if you didn't "care" or "mind" at the time, it was sexual assult because you were asleep. You need to let her know it's wrong. I had the same thing happen. I got PTSD. Make sure she knows what she did is wrong. There is no excuse.
