You know how sometimes older people will just be sitting there and you can tell they are just thinking. No one knows about what. This is how I am most of the time. I am just staring into space thinking...how do I save myself. It is so terrible.

Is this a recent thing or is it something that you always do? Man, I find it very hard to just sit still; and I'm always walking around or just doing something - anything. I think that I have ADHD tough, but that's for another day's discussion. You will be fine dude... ...You've got a good, gentle heart.

I am usually very busy also. I try to do things to keep busy. I find myself just standing, sitting etc. and thinking about this. It doesn't matter what I do, I cannot escape from thinking about this. Even in sleep, I wake up already thinking about it. There should be different laws. We should both have to take lie detector tests to start off with.

I know the feeling... ...Did you never hear of the phrase 'the devil makes hard work of idle thumbs' though? Basically, being alone with your brain is a bad idea! - Thinking is bad for the health. Anyway, what is your lawyer saying about the likelihood of you winning this case?

I have 2 lawyers. They work together. They say there is no guarantee. It is her word against mine. I ask them if they believe my story...they just say it doesn't matter if they believe me. It is up to the jury to decide. They don't even listen to me when I try to tell them things. They are only looking at the one day the prosecution is saying I raped her. They are not looking at the big picture. They don't want to talk about the financial issue or revenge issue for some reason. I don't get it.

Hi,

That sounds strange to me (the way they are behaving). I've never had a lawyer though so I've nothing to base their actions/behaviour on. I suppose, however, that they aren't allowed to say whether or not they believe you. I dunno, it's tomorrow, isn't it? Good luck with it all. I will be thinking about you dude.

Thanks for the support. That is how these lawyers are anyway. I checked out some other ones. They believed me. Maybe these guys are just tougher. I don't know. I think she just mentally broke down when we broke up. I think she has things messed up in her mind. I know she has things messed up in her mind. I hope the jury sees that.

the prosecution is objecting to giving us her medical records. She went to a psychiatrist about two weeks before this argument. He doubled her dose of anti-depressants. She went back there a week later (with me ) and demanded he erase the tape of their session. I just asummed when she was going it was because she was depressed about her daughter's rape. She has claimed in court on two occasions that she was not able to talk about what she wanted (me raping her) because I was there. She asked me to take her. She could have went when I was at work if she wanted to be alone. I was not in the room with her and Dr. I was in the waiting room downstairs from the room where her and the Dr were. Since they do not want us to have this info...what could she have talked about?

I need to go to court again next Friday so lawyers can discuss their schedules.

Hi,

I suspect that the judge will be suspicious of why they are witholding her medical records. As far as I was aware, however, medical records cannot be erased for up to 4 or 5 years after they are created. Therefore, it is illegal that the tape was erased, right? Anyway, can't your lawyer issue a sub-poena or something to legally obtain the records against her wishes? Surely, her mental state must be an issue in this case and, therefore, the records must be obtained.

I was actually thinking about you last Friday here but forgot to reply. I was thinking about it yesterday too but also forgot to reply! What is your lawyer's outlook about how the first court-date went?

The lawyer's outlook is never given. They just always say anything can happen. They are putting in a motion to get the medical records....but it is up to the judge. I have to go this Friday also so they can figure out when the trial will be. I am supposed to meet with my lawyer afterwards and talk. Hopefully, they ask me more about this case. I am completly disgusted with what they know about it so far.
