Only confront him if you're with a few male friends with weapons. He needs to take a beating, but whatever you do don't go on your own because he may attack you or taunt you even more which would make things worse.

I'll probably get told off for this for trying to instigate violence, but I'm just saying what a lot might be thinking. I don't expect you to follow my advice and get violent anyway, just saying that's what he wants.
