I have a theory that is shared by other writers / articles I've come across on internet, though my spin might be a bit unique, also not all that different. Wanted to know if it resonates with anyone else:
We humans are all hermaphrodites, not male or female We are Yin Yang, we have a male half and a female half. When we are born, one half becomes our physical body, the other half becomes our emotional body. So men have a female emotional body and women have a male emotional body. This is why men can so easily control, suppress emotions, and women can so easily control and suppress sexual desire. Men are hard to emotionally arouse, because our emotions are analogous to a clit. Women are easy to emotionally arouse because for them it is analogous to a penis. Women emotionally are stronger than men, more emotionally assertive.
The emotional body is not some supernatural, metaphysical construct, it is biologically linked in the brain to the physical body, at a neurological, chemical level. This means it is capable of having errors, mutations, biological dysfunctions.
The more we live in a polluted, toxic environment with microplastics, bph's in our drinks and food, more chemicals we cannot pronounce in our water supplies, our air, our foods, the more we are going to experience disruptions in our systems, in utero, while developing as infants, genetically, etc. All of which means this "normal" (sorry to use the term, don't mean to offend, perhaps "most common") division of the emotional and physical bodies can get mixed up.
My best analogy is this: For men (male physical body, female emotional body), our soul resides in the physical body. For women, it resides in the emotional body. So women need emotional stimulation, arousal, connection to get the soul glowing, which energy passes through the brain connection to the physical body and makes sexual arousal and climax possible. Women are all inherently pansexual in this way. For men it is the opposite. Our romantic, clitoral heart cannot be stimulated without first arousing our physical body which gets our soul energized, the energy passes through the brain to the emotional body, gets our emotional vagina lubricated, able to finally feel real romantic connection, excitement.
So this theory -- and I'll admit it is largely metaphor / analogy, but I think is the most perfect illustration of what is happening on a macro level, even if on the micro level it is much more complicated -- can explain trans and general issues. Because if your soul is put into the wrong body, like a physical woman with a male emotional body, has her soul connected to her physical body, she will be a trans male (so him/he should be prior pronouns). It is not psychological. It absolutely rooted in biology. With the soul in the physical body, he does feel desperately he should be male in his physical body.
One problem, though, is this: If he gets sex reassignment surgery and physical body made male, which aligns with his soul being in physical body, he is still going to feel "off" based on the fact he now has male physical body and male emotional body, which will feel out of whack.
What I call the soul could just be called the "seat of consciousness" to make it less spiritual, more scientific. Perhaps it is something we can adjust neurologically. Perhaps one day we will find a way to treat this to change a few neurons so that the seat of consciousness flips from the physical to emotional or vice versa, and so resolve this issue without need for imperfect solution of gender reassignment surgery.
Well, I don't even know if any of this is accurate. Just a possibility, hypothesis that might be be worth kicking around. Might be 99% wrong, but 1% valuable insight that lets some one else figure out the rest.
