Help!
(Excusing my self in advance if the grammar or spelling isn’t correct)

I’ve tried to do as much research as possible (still searching) on Münchhausen Syndrome (not By Proxy).
I hope it’s ok that I am writing to you even though it is not about ”by proxy). It’s about my wife)

I am 42 years old and am married to my wife for 15 years (together since 2003). Two children (age 15 and 14)
I have lately been wondering that something is weird. I will try to make a loooong story short.

When I met my wife she told me that she has rheumatism (had it since the age of 14 I believe).
I also have to make it clear that I am a very kind person who thinks well of everyone and have no reason to disbilief anyone.
She has very high knowledge about different medications and illnesses and stuff like that. She works at a hospital of course.

The history list when it comes to different types of illnesses and sicknesses is very long. It started pretty early in our relationship with like inflammation in the hand and similiar situations. Nothing ”weird” about that depending on that she has rheumatism.

I’m am certain that she has had some of the ”issues” and ”problems she claims to have and have had.

If I am going to focus on the last like 5-7 years (not entirely sure about how many years it is beacuase I have trouble remembering everything that has been) it looks like this:
She had problems with her knee that started with bruises. The bruises got wider and bigger and the knee/leg got really swollen. She met many different doctors (so she said. I have NEVER been with her to the doctors when it has been more ”worse” issues. She wants to be alone)
It took like 1-1,5 years for the doctors to find out that she has Sarcoma (spelling?) in the knee.
Not sure which step comes first but I know that she has had a surgery and have had chemo therapy intravenously and radiation on the knee (5 times a week for 5 weeks if I remember it rightly). Are there any patients that are going through treatment like this that are able to work every single day? She wasn’t home recovering at any day throughout the whole procedure with treatment. She says that she feels worse mentally if she is at home. She dosen’t want to be at home ”feeling sorry for herself”.
After all of the treatment with radiation and chemo she beat the cancer and had like 3 or 4 treatments with chemo (tablettes) to make sure to keep the cancer away. She is cancer fre from that now.
The last year or year and a half she has a new type of cancer called Myeloma and is now in for treatment for this.
She got the covid-19 (twice)in February and March this year and was very sick. Couldn’t work at all and got a lot of fluid in her lungs several times (and stomach) and had to go empty her lungs several times. She now has post-covid and still has issues from this.

I also have to say that she is smoking cigarettes and I think that it maybe is the smoking that had caused the bad lungs.

Am I crazy for thinking thoughts that she might be faking some of the things she is claiming? I feel very bad for thinking like this as at the same time I am going crazy with all these ”diseases” she is having.
I do not know how to approach this with her. I feel i need to have more evidence before I CAN confront her.

I really hope you will read this and can give me some tips and suggestions of what I can do because it feels that I am being torn apart inside of me.

Best regards
Lennie
