Introducing Myself And Why Im Here

Hi. I don't get to this board often, but I have PTSD, depression, and generalized anxiety disorder. The PTSD is from the 9 years I spent in a psychologically abusive marriage. Anyway, welcome to the board!

I myself have gone through abuse, of all kinds at the hands of an ex at a young age and so on and so forth. Also I have PTSD, reminants of that disorder as well as Clinical depression.

Welcome to the psychforum family, I hope you will feel comfortable to post here when you need to.

I have also been abused my whole life at the hands of my mom, dad and sisters and as a result I have a chemical imbalance that I'm going to have to live with for the rest of my life. What joy!! It can certainly make life hell and it seems that practically every day something new comes up that I have to handle. Life is certainly a chore for me. I view anybody in the therapeutic field as a necessary evil because a lot of what I have to say is not believable and is viewed with distrust and that makes me so incredibly sad.

Thanks for the reply to my post. At times it is very hard to talk about. Other times I just don't want to rehash over it again and again. Have you been a member of this forum for very long?
