Oh I feel threatened nearly every day in my surroundings...it's Philly! Hearing the news every day doesn't help either,it's like I'm in a war zone! It sucks that most people don't even notice! I think part of my problem is I happen to be extra sensitive to things around me so I notice things alot more perceptively than most so that kind of sucks also.

Aries, maybe the best thing for you would be to get a decent diagnosis and some medication and therapy if it were possible. I think Butterfly might have a point and this is bad anxiety.

I think the best therapy would be to get out of here and live the life I used to live...but unfort the marriage thing kinda keeps me trapped, which takes me back to the original catch 22.

Do you think taking a little vacation and visiting a relaxing place might help? Aries, have you ever been tested for a mental illness like Asperger's syndrom or something like that? I'm not saying it's what you have, it's just that what you describe reminds me a little of how a person with asperger's would react, but I don't really know a lot about it.

I've taken vacations before but knowing that I still have to come back here is what brings me down. I spent most of my early life as a 'freebird' of sorts...moving wherever I wanted on a whim, now it's the exact opposite. It literally feels like prison!
So I think more than a syndrome of sorts,it's more of a change in lifestyle I'm having problems with. I've also tested myself in other areas and the people don't irritate me as much as here,so I think just becoming sick of this area is the main issue and these symptoms seem to be the result of extreme stress.

Aries, then what are you going to do? Therapy might still help a little, even if it's just while you decide what's gonna happen.
