Trauma from extreme situation

This is a pretty extreme story but I would kind of like a place to just dump the thing and see how people react. This might sound like a complete fever dream, so I'll pre-emptively validate your skepticism. Anyways here it is:

The condensed version is as follows: Several years ago I was drugged and severely abused. Following this incident I experienced a profound dissociative fugue upon recovering from which I became suspicious of the people I was living with, eventually questioning their interpretation of what occurred. I agreed to go to the hospital with them and was diagnosed with schizophrenia and briefly committed before being released as an involuntary patient on extended leave. My treatment continued for ~4 years (despite no presentation of psychotic symptoms apart from transient suspicion at the cause of the fugue state, and during which I remained fully functional as an adult, studying and/or working full time) until one psychiatrist finally discharged me completely after tapering me off the medication on his own initiative.
More recently it has come to my attention that footage of this abuse has been leaked online in some manner, and that the actual motive for the assault was to monetize it by selling it on unlisted websites. I do not currently have possession of this footage, but am looking into methods to search for it (and am pretty sure it does in fact exist). It is also extremely likely that this ordeal involved substantial cooperation with local law enforcement and doctors (at least initially), though to what extent I'm not entirely sure.

Over the years various people (co-workers and so on) have made more or less direct comments regarding my situation, either with reference to comprising digital material, or even actual military torture (some even specifically referencing that scene from Brazil where the protagonist is dissociated after being tortured), so it seems my situation is almost like common knowledge in some circles.

There is another feature of this situation that sounds even more outlandish but which I might as well share - I can't help but notice that my social media feeds seems as if it's being engineered. Obviously it'll fit itself to your digital footprint generally, but over the past ~1 year especially solidly %60-70 of the suggested content (of a particular platform) has been oriented towards the same themes (usually clips from movies and whatnot): rape, powerlessness, humiliation, corrupt authority figures abusing innocent citizens, people held in captivity and abused, digital humiliation footage being spread around, even more specific things like entrapped/enslaved people trying to secretly communicate their plight to potentially benevolent strangers (like I'm doing now lol). I've actually been documenting these, have a whole folder full of them, it's horrific. That could be a coincidence of course, but if for some reason the state/government really is ######6 with me this bad it's possible they're influencing that somehow.

So there it is, feel free to offer support, ask more questions, whatever.
