For the past couple of years, since I cut all contact with my family after years of abuse(mental, physical, sexual and emotional), I started to have anxiety attacks. Most of the time it's triggered by a memory of a beating or something that happened in my childhood/teenage years. I always crumble to the floor and can't stop crying. The flashbacks or memories are always really sudden, but sometimes it's in reaction to something I see on t.v or even sometimes a child crying. I know it sounds strange, but I'm worried and afraid to go to psychologist...I feel ashamed talking about the things that happened to me...can PTSD be caused by child abuse? It went on from the time I was 2 years old to 22 years old. I'm 24 now.

PTSD is caused by trauma. It doesn't matter what age the trauma occurred, any severe enough trauma has the potential to cause PTSD. Sometimes if you have had multiple traumas this can cause complex-PTSD. Obviously only a professional can diagnose you, but given what you said in your other thread as well as this one I don't think it would be particularly surprising if you may have developed PTSD, you did mention a lot of very awful trauma and some sudden and extreme reaction to triggers...
The good thing about PTSD is that it can be very effectively treated by a professional. It's not the easiest thing to go through treatment, it can be challenging enough to even have the courage to go see a professional, let alone to tough it out through treatment. But it is one of those things where if you do put in the work, it can help immensely...

Any kind of trauma can cause PTSD, although I cant diagnose you myself, I highly recommend you find a therapist that you feel comfortable working with. When I first started speaking about my own PTSD and abuse it was really hard, but it got a bit easier over time. I would be more than happy to talk to you anytime if you need someone to talk to.
