My Poem : Your Hate

Your hate

She was ripped away
Didn’t mean to stay
Didn’t come to play
Didn’t like me

Why do you torment me
Why do you resent me
(cuz you don’t like me)

She stole my time
Life ripped in twine
Her love was never mine
She never tried it

Why don’t you love me
Why don’t you care
I gave you time that wasn’t mine

I sit here waiting
My hope deflating
She wont come
Cuz she don’t care

In the corners of my mind
You left me behind
I have nothing to say
This is my day

Love is so empty
Hate controls
Tenderness I don’t feel
A feeling I cant heal

Why don’t you show
This love I don’t know

You don’t love-don’t care

You are so talented!!! I wish I could write poetry like you!! It's so beautiful, and when I read it, it's like I can feel what you were feeling at the time. Not saying I can. But I like poetry that makes me feel what the author was feeling, or what the author intended for me to feel. HOpe that made sense.
