"Cool"

(1st draft, feeling sorry for myself)

I don't know why the mirror decided to lie to me
and show my belly as paunched.
My beard really isn't gray
who's playing this joke?

Why are my friend's hanging out at these offices?
I thought the prank was fun at first,
but now I don't understand
and I got kicked out.

It's so weird that the new kids that hang out
are all calling me names like creep,
and old man, and weirdo,
and ew, and monster.

I remember when this place used to be cool.
