She fell beneath the waves and held her breath easily
Yet, soon she came to realize that she had sunk too far into the water
It was becoming hot all around her and she couldn't move
She was scared, she screamed
Only bubbles answered her as she strained to reach the surface
Fingertips broke the waves and became seared from the heat
She froze, her hand retreating back slowly as she realized another thing
It was hotter out of the water than in
She began to sink, her lungs burning in protest from the lack of oxygen
Her eyebrows furrowed as she fell into the darkness that was heat
Accepting the heat
Loving the heat
Hating the heat
+A very dumb and quickly written poem type thing.
