Hope Despairs

Hope desires what can't be had
Yet strives in need
Delirium swells beneath it's deception
Unascried this expectation
Madness

What can't be had is hopeless
Faith in the insurmountable; delusion
Is hope not despairs' guise?
If anything it is unwise
