Rapid weight loss. :/

Postby BlackCloudAnthrax » Tue Jun 19, 2012 12:22 am

My dad noticed the other day that I have almost no body fat whatsoever, and apparently, I look unhealthy. I have high cheek bones, but I guess they're more prominent now.
Also, I was told that my eyes looked more sunken in, and my veins are surfacing more around my eyes, on my chest, etc.
I still have muscle mass, though...and my skin/complexion is healthy.

But the thing is, I'm a generally healthy person, &I eat well, too.

But, I was thinking, I get anxious/stressed frequently (OCD/Mysophobia,) and maybe that's what's helping?

I'm kind of at a loss on what could be happening. ._.

Input is appreciated. :3

- Additional info. I'm 18 years old & female.

Well my friend has one you need tests to confirm but you can take a medication that helps you gain weight back and not lose weight all the time.

I think high protein food would be better for you. High protein will build up some skin on your face and body. But along with protein don't skip fats for the sake of losing weight or being fit, you are fit now and you need some fat to cover up your bones.

Are you losing weight rapidly? Or just fat? If you losing weight unintentionally you need to eat more. Consider performing the harris benedict equation:

First you need your BMR?
http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/

After you got your BMR you need to multiply it by your sporting intensity:

Sporting intensity
Level 1: No training x1.2
Level 2: Light Training (1-3 times per week) x 1.375
Level 3: Medium Training (1-5 times per week) x 1.55
Level 4: Heavy Training (6 - 7 times per week) x 1.725
Level 5: Heavy daily training, plus physical job or marathon training, swimming, football camp etc etc. x1.9

That number is how you MAINTAIN your weight if you consume that much calories per day.
I need to eat around 3700 calories to keep my weight. I have build a food schedule around this fact. If i go over it i gain weight and maybe fat. If i go under it i lose weight and maybe muscles. That´s why i listen to my food schedule. i recommend you do the same. Build a food schedule for yourself, or make 3 big meals and split it in 6.

I hope i helped you,
Greetings
